Summer in Zillertal
Pure nature in the middle of the Zillertal Alps.
In summer you can explore our nature while hiking, mountaineering & climbing or on bike and mountain bike tours. Our apartments are the ideal starting point for your hikes and bike tours in the Zillertal. You can cool off in the 6 Zillertal outdoor pools and at the bathing lake in Schlitters. Those who long for an adrenaline rush can prove their courage with rafting, tubing, canyoning, paragliding, hang gliding, sport climbing or on the numerous via ferrata.
The starting point is the train station in Mayrhofen. The route leads along the Ziller towards the south via the municipality of Brandberg (Häusling, Au) and past some pastures to
Bärenbadalm in the Zillergrund. The tour then runs through two tunnels and ends directly at the spectacular dam wall of the impressive reservoir lake.
"Get on your bike, explore the Zillergrund and refresh yourself at our Häusling Alm!"
Care and attention is required when you ascend from Häusling (1,056 m) to Bodenalm (1,671 m)! The alpine meadows and adjacent floors bloom with numerous colorful alpine flowers. But remember: Edelweiss and co are most beautiful in their natural environment, not in a vase.
Walking time Häusling - Bodenalm 2-3 h | Way back 1.5-2 h
If you prick up your ears and deliberately indulge in nature, you will hear the chirping of the wagtail or the rustling of the lizard. Maybe your gaze wanders over a trout in the crystal-clear Ziller on the cozy hiking trail from Häusling to the Gasthaus In der Au. The larger animals, such as eagles or marmots, are more difficult to spot. If you are lucky, they will show up too. The scenic idyllic section of the road on this quiet route is ideal for cycling and hiking.
Walking time Häusling - In der Au: 2 h
